I class this as one of those books we will keep as a memento of my sons early years, the one we spent hours flipping through the pages of peacefully connecting with each other. Most of the books he had at 2 he has long since outgrown but not this one. We've spent literally hours over the course of the last 5 years just looking at the pages together, talking about the things that are going on, what the vehicles look like, who is driving them, what they might be used for etc etc and as my son has aged the things we see on each page has changed and so has our conversation about it-at 2 years old we read the story and talked about the silly cars but today I noticed the conversation has moved more towards why? and how? and my son being able to read the passages of text himself. There isn't much of a story to this book, and what story there is won't win any literary prizes, but on reflection I realise now that this is probably one of our most picked up books.

I didn't leave a review at the time but I feel compelled to now because I spent a good hour of quality time this morning looking through it with my now 7 year old and it's only now that I realise it's importance and value. I bought this book for my then 2 year old son way back in 2015.
